Dewey K. Shay has been CEO of Unison Infrastructure since 2003.

Prior to Unison Dewey co-founded OneMain.com, a non-metro internet service provider sold to EarthLink in 2000. OneMain acquired 44 individual ISP’s and aggregated 800,000 subscribers representing $300mm in annual revenue. Dewey began his career as a Corporate Finance and M&A investment banker with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

He currently serves on the Management Advisory Board for TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P., as a board member of Validity Finance, LLC, as a board member for New York Arena Partners and as a board member on the Cornell Rowing Association. He is an investor in the New York Islanders hockey team and previously the New York Mets baseball team.

Dewey has a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Caitlin Garzoli rejoined Unison in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for business development, finance, and operations. Caitlin is an infrastructure real estate veteran with over 18 years’ experience driving results and engagement across organizations.

Prior to rejoining Unison, Caitlin was the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis for American Tower, a publicly traded tower REIT and Fortune 500 company. During her tenure with American Tower, Caitlin also served as the Vice President of Finance Operations and as the Director of Land Management, leading large-scale asset diligence and integration efforts and ensuring the commercial readiness of over 46,000 US tower and rooftop assets. Caitlin began her telecom career with Unison Site Management, Unison Infrastructure’s predecessor, where she served as an Analyst, Pricing Director, and Director of FP&A during her 8-year tenure.

Caitlin holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and earned a BA in International Relations from Brown University.

Harrison Theros is the Managing Director of Origination for Unison Infrastructure.

Harrison has led the company’s origination team for the last 10 years. Before joining Unison, he was part of the senior management teams at Accredited Home Lenders and AegisFunding. Harrison earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska.

Sue-Hyung is Managing Director, Legal at Unison Infrastructure, where he supervises the underwriting and acquisition of infrastructure assets in the U.S.

He has over 15 years of experience advising on U.S. and international real estate transactions. Prior to joining Unison, Sue-Hyung was an associate at Cole Schotz.

He earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He lives in Seattle with his wife and son.

Ben joined Unison in 2022 to lead Unison’s Renewable Energy business.

He brings over a decade of wind, solar, and battery storage experience to our team. He has contributed to the origination and development of over $2 billion of utility and distribution scale renewable energy assets across the United States and Canada.

Prior to joining Unison, Ben spent 10 years at NextEra Energy, most recently as Regional Director of their distributed generation business in New York and New England. Ben began his career as a paratrooper and officer in the United States Army, deploying twice to the Middle East.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science. Ben, his wife, and three young children live in sunny South Florida.

Kelly is a seasoned HR leader with over 15 years of experience, primarily in global retail, wholesale, and nuclear industries.  Holding a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut, she is adept at creating cohesive workforces rooted in company core values.

Kelly’s approach to HR emphasizes transparency, empathy, and curiosity, fostering environments where employees thrive.  She is committed to collaborating with leadership across the organization to ensure alignment and effectiveness.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kelly enjoys competing in triathlons and spending quality time with her family in Charlotte, NC.  Her dedication to excellence and collaboration drives our HR initiatives forward with precision and impact.

Sandra Kelly joined Unison Infrastructure in 2022 as the company’s Senior Recruiter, responsible for identifying exceptional talent to join the Unison team.

Sandra leads hiring company-wide and personally handles key-position recruiting in both the United States and Europe. She is focused on creating a positive experience for all candidates, from the start of the recruiting process through onboarding into their full-time position. Sandra builds strong relationships with all hiring managers to ensure she understands the keys to candidate success, enabling a successful long-term experience for both the candidate and the company.

When she’s not interacting with potential candidates, Sandra enjoys taking spin classes and mastering her cooking skills.

David Farmer is Unison Infrastructure’s Regional General Counsel for Europe, responsible for driving transaction closing across the company’s European markets. Prior to Unison, David worked at Eversheds Sutherland for 14 years before moving in-house. He has over 20 years’ experience helping companies interpret real estate legal complexities and holds a law degree from the University of Exeter in the UK.

David is based in Luxembourg and is keenly motivated by the daily opportunity to support his closing team and complete transactions for the benefit of Unison’s clients.

David is an avid football (soccer) fan and loves spending time with his family.

David Saxton is Unison Infrastructure’s Managing Director of European Origination. David has over 20 years of experience of personal telecommunications lease buyout experience and has built several highly productive teams for Unison over the course of his career. David relocated to Europe in 2022 to focus on expanding Unison’s business in the region.

By fostering strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, David continues to leverage his 30+ years of sales, management, and closing experience for the benefit of Unison’s clients.

When not at the office in Milan or Rome, David participates in the Executive MBA program at Bologna Business School and enjoys exploring Europe with his family on weekends and breaks.

AJ joined Unison Infrastructure in 2020, bringing with him a decade of deal origination experience with a heavy focus on international markets. At Unison, AJ works primarily with the European origination teams, strategizing on everything from recruiting, training, and deal structuring to overall business growth.

AJ attended Assumption University in Worcester, MA before moving to the West Coast of the United States. He now lives in the San Bernardino National Forest where he gets to enjoy all facets of the great outdoors.

Amulya joined Unison in 2023 as VP of Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Finance, leading Unison’s M&A valuation, diligence and integration efforts as well as related asset financing activities.

Amulya has a decade of experience in digital infrastructure operations and strategic investment. Prior to Unison, Amulya was with Pinnacle Towers, a KKR-backed platform, where she played a critical role in new market entry and tower portfolio acquisitions.

Amulya has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and B.Tech & M.Tech degrees from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Amulya lives in the Boston area with her husband and their two children. In her free time, Amulya enjoys playing board games, exploring the outdoors and grand-parenting her daughter’s six imaginary pups.

Venki Ramakrishan joined Unison Infrastructure in 2021 as Vice President of Finance.

Prior to Unison, Venki served as Director of Finance for American Tower’s US Division, a publicly traded tower REIT and Fortune 500 company. During his 18-year tenure with American Tower, Venki held several positions within the finance department including senior roles in accounting, M&A integration, and Financial Planning & Analysis

Venki earned his MBA and M.A. in Economics degrees from Boston University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

John Cagnina is the Chief Technology Officer at Unison Infrastructure, responsible for leading information technology system design and development.

John has over 20 years of experience in software development, focused on implementing a suite of systems that drive revenue and ensure the company’s digital security. Before returning to Unison Infrastructure, John worked as CIO at Unison Energy based out of Greenwich, CT.

John lives in northern Virginia with his wife and two kids and enjoys working on classic cars outside of work.

Jennifer Bubeck serves as Unison Infrastructure’s Director of Lead Generation, responsible for connecting Unison experts with interested clients.

Jennifer has over two decades of experience in marketing and lead generation. Prior to returning to Unison, Jennifer worked in Real Estate and Insurance gaining experience in lead generation, sales and marketing management, and data analysis. For Unison, Jennifer leverages analytics and leadership acumen to lead a team of remote origination coordinators, who frequently serve as clients’ first experience with the Unison team.

When Jennifer isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two golden retrievers. She enjoys boating, traveling, snowboarding, and anything adventurous.
